Nevo Error

Since EZ-RC has closed down, JP1 is your only option to get these remotes upgrades. We will (eventually) support all remotes formerly supported by EZ-RC, including the Moster Revolution 200.

Nevo Error

Post by vickyg2003 »

I am playing musical chairs with my TVs. We bought another Samsung because my husband misses the channels that he likes on the Samsung+ lineup.

As per usual, I am having trouble with my NEVO. The link above is from the last successful uploaded configuration from 2023. I opened it in RMIR and tried to save it with the new name, and get an error that it can't be saved.

I then downloaded from my working remote, and get the same message that it can't be saved.

I'd like to retrieve as much of this as possible, but I am willing to start over again I just don't recall how to reset a Nevo to factory.

Need to save to a folder like Documents with no security restrictions like C:\ would have.

No its not a permissions issue. Everytime I tweak a Nevo I have to be very careful. Last time I had 37 failure to save issues. It has made me very paranoid. I opened this and started with a save, but it was already too late, there is something that is used, that RMIR doesn't like.

She's right, I saved the file, opened it using RMIR and tried to save it again and got the same error: "Error saving file Florida Living Room Nevo SonyTV.rmir"

There's something wrong with TV/1768 because it won't pop-up RM. I also see some warnings in rmaster.err about duplicate function names in some of the upgrades, but shouldn't cause an issue, but there's a more serious "Index 0 out of bounds for length 0" near the end.

Here's my rmaster.err file:

Once Rmir get into a hidden error state on a Nevo, I can never get the file to save. Unfortunately all 3 of my Nevos have this current configuration.

I know there must be an old version of Rmir that can handle this file, but I would prefer to just start from scratch.

Does anybody have a Nevo starting image saved off somewhere?
