Kameleon URC-8060 IRToWav Feasability

Post by Mog »

I have been using the 8060 with the excellent extender for many many years now, and sadly, they are wearing out :(

I have two remotes that no longer respond to the parallel interface, and was wondering if I could update them using IRToWav?

The readme lists the remote as supported, I know having disassembled my remotes many times that there is a modem within - but I cannot find out how to put the remote into upgrade mode - can anybody help me out here? :?:

That Wiki page mentions IR.exe in all of the steps, has this functionality been replicated in RMIR or do folks still need to use IR.exe for WAV files?

WAV is built into RMIR. I've updated the wiki.
