Another thank you

Hi All,

Just wanted to drop another thanks to the community.

My father-in-law and JP1 member PlanoPete passed away in January.

I am up in Dallas helping my mother-in-law move, and came across a lot of memories - Pete was an engineer like myself, and one of the things we shared was our love of JP1. Lots of old JP1 boxes, remotes and cables stashed around here.

I needed to help get my mother-in-law off Dish as she is moving down to Austin with us into an apartment, and the LG Magic Remote was a bit too much for her - so I picked up a One-For-All streamer. I was going to just take the lazy route and use it as normal... But since Pete had the cables around, I fired up RM-IR which I haven't used in years and was up and running in no time. Thanks mathdon and rob in particular for all you have done here.

Sorry for your loss. Glad it brought back some good memories though. Always great to have you drop in. Mathdon and Rob have really gone above and beyond to keep this community going. We?re lucky to have them.
