This is the first code set in this format that I have seen which did not conform to my OBC/EFC map & algorithm.

This EFC = (199 - My EFC) mod 256

For my regular map, EFC 00000 produces IR hex 9D (OBC 157).
For this map, EFC 00000 produces IR hex 62 (OBC 98).

The easier solution (for some) would be to bit-flip the IR hex# (FF - IR#) before using my map.
Using the above numbers, FF - 62 = 9D.
(All math is in hex.)

I tested which EFCs were available on the Admiral/Dynex Roku code set 1/2049.
It used all 256 positions and did not repeat consistently.

I have two IR hex codes which are acknowledged but have no obvious effect on the TV:
IR hex 71 = EFC 00137* &
IR hex 7F = EFC 00010

In three different code sets [12183, 12049 & 4398], an acknowledged but unresponsive command is listed immediately following the three HDMI port choices. I believe that this might be software support for an additional input port that is not present on my TV (like a VGA port, perhaps).

*Identified in an earlier post. (Quoted EFCs are from code set #12183.)

Newer Roku tv's have 4 hdmi inputs, three labelled HDMI 1, 2, 3, and the fourth ARC.

This just in...!
Device #12049 could not perform the first power up of the day.* That required device #12183. Sad
Device #12049 worked thereafter.

*Hisense Roku TV
We switch off all AV equipment at night (at power strip), so it is the same as a TV reset.

Because of the superiority of its Roku code #4398 (and that my Magnavox EFC keys kept crashing), I moved my devices over to the Onn 6-device remote.

I am quite happy with it, but found that two keys, Ffwd & Rew, would not accept key-move overwrites in any mode: TV, streaming, DVD nor audio.

Is there a workaround for this?

Both buttons are unteachable, too.

I am assuming that learning is not possible in the conventional way due to the fact that these keys have two functions such as Ffwd and Ffwd held
But what did work for me is to learn your signal onto another key download that and edit the learned signal and switch it to Ffwd or Rew and upload that
Give this method a try and see if it will work for you
I am not that familiar with key-moves so i do not know of a work around for that

Key mover is using the following 9xx coding sequence, either by copying keys that are already present or using an EFC number for a known function.

My URC can also learn from other remotes, but even that method is blocked for the Ffwd & Rew keys.
