To prevent this, you should turn off the repeat finder. (When a signal is received, or scrutinized, the repeat finder finds that it is a repeating signal, and reduces it. This is normally a good thing to do, but not here.) Click the Options menu, and unselect "Invoke repeat finder".
You wrote that you ordered an iTach, which should have arrived by now. Have you discovered how you can use it with IrScrutinizer, for communicating with the Denon, and for teaching the Harmony? Note that on the "Hardware" pane there is a "count" pulldown menu, where you can select how many repeats of the code should be sent.
BTW, older Denons (like my A100/AVR4311) have Volume+ and Volume- using the old "Denon" protocol (called "Sharp" by Denon), namely Denon,D=2,F=241 and Denon,D=2,F=242? I take it that they do not work on the newer models like yours? |
