9xx Commands

Some remotes do not support "980" or "981"
So far we have 972 to 997 documented
What is the official range for 9xx commands?

It isn't clear that there is an "official range", but we have seen as low as 960 in conventional JP1.x remotes. I think that newer remotes may respond to even lower codes, as long as the first digit is a "9".

Interesting, I thought they might go lower than 972
So then it appears that testing more 9xx commands is an appropriate endeavor

960 is used in UEI made Directv remotes to program the input button for the tv codes, its unprogrammed by default. 961 is used to program the Directv remote for RF mode.

The only thing i have found so far is that on the
URC-3660
URC-3680
URC-2056 TITAN
all of which are JP1.4

968 SET VENDOR SETUP ID
and
989 BLINK BACK VENDOR SETUP ID

Not very helpful though

Did not test all but JP 1.3 Have a 988 that returns 2 blinks the 1st time but not sure what it's doing. Backup upload restores it
