URC-3680

Post by gregm60 »

I was at my local Microcenter and I saw this remote on the shelf. It looks a lot like the URC-3660 walmart remote, but has 8 devices.

I didn't pick one up because I already have enough remotes to last a lifetime, but if anyone is looking for a remote that can handle a lot of devices, this might be worth a look.

I have no idea if this has pins or JP1 capability.

We believe this to be an 8-device version of the URC-3660, which has two phantom devices and so is in fact itself an 8-device remote. The difference appears to be just that the URC-3680 has buttons for the two extra devices so we suspect the firmware is identical in the two remotes. If anyone has one of these then we can easily create an RDF for it to test if this is correct, and if so to provide full support for it.
