My Widget is the second widget Tommy Tyler ever made. It has always been a bit quirky when working with IRScope as it will not auto detect the COM port.
I haven't used my widget since August, and when I plugged it in today,I was in for an unpleasant surprise, the COM Ports are no longer listed in my device manager.
I googled and found out how to reveal my legacy com ports. The instructions were not clear, nor correct, but I did get them to show.
The Com port is showing up with the dreaded yellow triangle, I read the widget documents and did not see anything about a driver, but my ability to comprehend this stuff was always a struggle.
Any hints? Did I miss something? _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Okay, took this to another machine, and plugged my Widget in, and it gave me a triangle FT Uart device.
I clicked on that and pointed that to my JP1 directory, and it installed the ports and everything I needed. But that's not my computer! _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Oops, turns out my USB Hub's power supply died so when I plugged things in, it was not totally recognizing the widget. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
