I'm experimenting with more than one set of transport buttons. Specifically, I'm repurposing the keypad for transport buttons. The remote is a URC-7880. The version of RMIR is v2.13.5. I don't have any problem editing the device in RMIR and changing those keys in the remote. My question concerns what the device looks like when I download from the remote and edit the same device. My changed buttons don't seem to be there. Again, it's clearly working in the remote. Is this expected behavior? I've uploaded a zip file with two .rmdu files. mce1.rmdu is the device that I uploaded into the remote. mce2.rmdu is the device that I get when I download from the remote. This isn't really affecting my use of the remote, but I was somewhat surprised by it.

Only the codes are stored in the remote, not button names. Always upload your changes to the remote, not the other way around. Otherwise everything will be lost except the codes. |
