I have a satellite remote with 6 solder connections on the bottom of the board and want to determine if they are jpx.x connections. The file area is not letting me upload. It keeps saying file is too big and it's only 3.5mb. I posted the pic to another site. Here it is: https://ibb.co/d6FvRjb |

I don't see any UEI style markings on that side, what does the other side look like? _________________ Rob

I still don't see any tell-tale markings that would lead me to believe this is a UEI remote. Do you have a user manual, are there any UEI setup codes or UEI style programming techniques? _________________ Rob

If you notice by the 6 solder joints at the bottom the circuit designation is sw1
typically i have seen this in remotes where that switch changes the remote from room a or b
or IR to RF.
If you notice the 10 solder lugs at the top of the remote designated con1 typically i have seen another circuit board soldered there either with pins or a ribbon cable.
That board is the RF section of the remote.
So my opinion is this is not a programmable JP1 remote |
