Android TV box X96MAX with IR remote

Been a while since i played with this stuff.

I got a new android TV box that came with a IR remote.
In the battery opening the numbers if find are UM-4 or LR03

Any ways it seem to be NEC1 protocol.

I tried to use the learn function of my RCA RCRP05BR remote
but i get a lot of Malformed signal lines for the up button and some of the other just don't seem to be read correctly. As the size is 24 characters for most buttons but some are larger like key 7 of is 62 characters, when all other of 0-9 are not.

I searched for some files for android devices but most are setup for different remotes and i have not found one whos codes worked yet.
Most have very different device numbers.

Looking for some help on how i should tackle this project.
I am using RM 2.02a i guess the first thing i should look to see if there is a newer version.

Well i got it working.

I found a file in the files section when searching for android

called
MBOX X92 - android tv box- URC-10820B00 (PVR).rmdu

And it works so far.
I had to add some extra button for things that the remote that came with the box don't have still working on that.

Now just to get more buttons to work with android box and Kodi.
like page up and down, channel up and down.
Stop and record, things like that.

I know i can edit kodi config to get some of that in kodi but i would like the keys to also work inside other android programs.

hello many brand of android tv box use same code , example mbox , tanix, sunvell , vontage.

X96 Max is a good tv box.

Install and use Use ADD-ON Program "Keymap Editor" is the best with kodi

Unfortunately, this way does not work with Tanix TX3.
