I have a Inteset 422-2 remote and a JP1 cable. I have installed the Common JP1.3 extender version 3.05 into a rmir file and uploaded it into the remote. The readme instructions say the following about activation:
Code: | The keymove to activate is on the TV/OK key (not visible to RMIR). To activate, press the TV/OK key after initial upload to the remote. When the extender is activated, the device button will flash 4 times to indicate activation. Until deactivated, the extender will remain active. |
I'm not sure what the TV/OK button is that the instructions refer to is, but this remote has a setup button, and I have tried long pressing that and I do not get the 4 flashes of the light, I also tried the big center ok button, and the button "B" button I am using for TV. The setup button long press yields 2 flashes and the other buttons just flash the normal once for a key press.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious here? |

For others with this Inteset 422-2: On this remote there are no hard labeled devices, instead there are A, B, C, and D. To activate the extender Press device A, then long press OK. |
