Server Issues?

Post by bevhoward »

Hi... it's been a while, but, I am getting email notifications of posts in topics that I have participated in the past, but the links all end up with "topic does not exist"

For example;

Anything I need to know?

Thanks in advance,

Possibly related... when I login and navigate this site, clicking topics, etc are painfully slow... several minutes or more.

The only way to use the site is to open a site link in a tab, then go to another tab and do something else until I notice that the page name has appeared on the JP1 tab.

Something in my settings, etc???

Thanks in advance,

I had to delete several spam posts today, which were all replies rather than new posts, so it was probably that.

Thanks for the response and explanation.

In addition, it looks like you kicked the server in the butt since everything now is full speed!

You and the site are appreciated!

I can't claim credit for the server (or the blame), that's all on Godaddy, though I have been debating whether it's worth trying to move everything to a different server because I also get frustrated with the slow speed.
