Xfinity XR15?

Xfinity XR15?
So switched my cable boxes from scientific atlanta to a newer Rogers box that uses an Xfinity XR15 remote. I can't seem to find any files or codes for this particular model remote (using with a Nevo C3), and wasn't able to learn from the remote for some reason.
Anyone else have luck with it?

With the Nevo C3, any regular USB cable serves as a JP1 cable, it should have come with a USB cable.

...ah, no I don't have any remotes that work with SimpleSet. Remotes I do have:
Harmony Elite
URC WR7
Nevo C3
Radio Shack 15-2104
RCA System Link 3
URC RF20
It's odd, seems the XR15 remote may in some way be tied to the X16-A box it comes with.
I just tried another one of my XR15's from a cable box I haven't set up yet. My Nevo C3 was able to learn some of the functions, but very sporadic, and even after it said it learned from some, they wouldn't work with the box.
Some due but I have to be literally a few inches from the box for them to work at it is still sporadic. Put new batteries into the Nevo as well.
Odd that my Harmony seems to be ok with it but none of the other remotes are?

If you are able to capture a learned signal that works, even if only up close, that might be enough for us to know what the protocol looks like, so please learn as many buttons as you can that work and then load your RMIR file for me to look at.
If your Harmony works, are you using learning or are you using a code supplied by the Harmony? Have you tried learning from the Harmony? The Harmony might be a better transmitter than the OEM remote.

Unless it's programmed with a different code set, the Comcast XR15 typically uses the Comcast XMP code. I should also point out, as you have probably noticed, that the XR15 is a HORRIBLE remote to physically use... I only use mine for the rare time I want to use a voice command.
I can also add that once it's RF paired, it will not output IR codes for the cable box. You need to unpair it if you want to learn codes.

Should add that I think the XMP code set is typically 1982 on most UEI remotes if I remember right.

If Andy's right that you need the XMP protocol, which can be a really hard protocol to learn btw, give this upgrade a try:

Also be aware that some Comcast boxes (assuming they're the same as Rogers) require an IR receiver dongle be plugged in to work with IR.
It would be useful to know the make model of your cable box since all code searches are based on the actual device being controlled, not the model of the remote.
Lastly, you don't need an actual Simple Set remote to look for codes, only a BIN file, one of which is posted here:

As Rob says, the XMP protocol is a really hard one to learn. However, DecodeIR has code that does a fair job of correcting poorly learned XMP signals if they are not too corrupt, so it is the one protocol for which I would recommend changing the IR Decoder from "IrpTransmogrifier" to "DecodeIR" with the Options menu of RMIR. If you have RMIR open and displaying the Learned Signals tab, you can switch between the two decoders with the Options menu to compare the decodes, as the switch has immediate effect.

Before you spend too much effort trying to get the learning process to work, why not load the upgrade that I posted into your Nevo and try that.
Am I right in understanding that your Harmony is able to control the Rogers box? If so, that implies that the box has an IR sensor and doesn't need an add-on IR adapter. Also, did you get the Harmony to learn the signals or did you use a built in code?
