Jp 1.2/1.3 DIY Serial Interface To Upgrade JP 1.4?

Hello friends, can anyone please guide me. Can I use my home made JP 1.2/1.3 Serial Interface (3 Transistor Design) to upgrade JP 1.4 remote? I am attaching the pic of the JP 1.4 Remote. Thanks

JP1.4 uses the same interface as JP1.3. But if there is no RDF for this model, a new one would need to be developed.

IR.exe is obsolete and can't handle the latest type of JP1 remotes.
