OARUSB04G Home and Options buttons

Post by vook »

The Guide and Info buttons have alternate description (Home) and (Options). How do I activate this alternate code? I need to push the Home button for my smart TV.

Those alternate labels simply indicate that in certain device modes, the built-in setup codes will treat the GUIDE button as HOME, and the INFO button as OPTIONS, but at the end of the day, they're the same buttons. So, if you're creating an upgrade for your remote using RM and you want to program the "Home" function, just assign it to the GUIDE button. Likewise, if you want to program the "Options" function, just assign it to the INFO button.

Bottom line, think of the labels as meaning that this button is GUIDE *or* HOME, and the other as INFO *or* OPTIONS.
