Comcast JP1.3 30393039 error with J1.3 Common V3.05

Post by mark60050 »

Hi,

I was excited to hear about this extender for the Comcast 30393039 remote.

Unfortunately, I had trouble with the extender after I installed it and could use some help.

What worked:
1) Merge install using RMIR v2.09build8 on Ubuntu 18.04
2) Uploads to the remote
3) Extender appears to activate with TV OK key

What does not work:
4) Download from extended remote throws an error in RMIR

Here is the RAW file I downloaded for debugging

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

It would also be helpful to see your rmaster.err file and the actual error message you're seeing.

Hi mdavej, here is a zip file with screen grab, rmaster.err and the raw download.

I don't see anything obvious. Mathdon will have to take a look.

Just an update on this from my side. I still have no luck with the JP1.3 Common Extender, however, I thought I would try the older Comcast specific JP1.3, version 1.02, here:
The Comcast specific extender loaded just fine for me. I have been working on a new configuration with this older extender. So if you have a Comcast JP1.3 and can't get the common extender to work for you, you might consider using the older Comccast specific extender.

Cheers!
