I got an android tv box called Superbox S1 Pro recently and want to control it from outside by Slingbox M2.
However, anyone have the bin file of the remote controller? or I would appreciate it if anyone could make it. |

I would normally help but 'Superbox' is not recognised by the Logitech Harmony IR Database where I get the codes. I'm also in the UK so cannot get hold of a remote. You will have to get a learning remote, I'll let Rob talk you through that, |

The best bet is buying an OARUSB04G remote from Amazon as it's a learning remote with its own USB cable that serves as a JP1 cable. You can normally get it from Amazon for about $18 but at the moment it's $30 for a used one.

Good news, it's on eBay for $15:

If you get this remote, you can use it to capture the signals from your OEM remote and then post the JP1 file, Alan can use that to create a Singbox bin file for you. _________________ Rob

Sorry about my first post, I was looking in the database under 'set top box', turns out the device is filed under 'Media Centre PC'
Try the remote at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=25060 Make sure to check the README file and follow the linked installation instructions. |

Thank you for your replies.
I will try the database alanrichey said, then if it cannot work well, I will get the universal remote controller The Robman said.
Reverting. |
