RMIR not working with URC-6131

Post by codybear »

I have the old URC-6131 with 2k memory and using the extender (signature = PVR0PVx2). It's working fine with IR but I'm trying to use RMIR as I'm experimenting with the Apple protocol. Anyway, when I try to open my .ir file, I get "No remote found with signature starting PVR0 and EEPROM size 2k". When I try to download from my remote, I get "No RDF matches signature starting PVR0".

This is not working with RMIR 2.03b12 and 2.08b7. Didn't go to latest as I didn't want to upgrade the java as I'm working with a legacy machine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks that did it.

And Rob, I've been to your house (assuming you live in the same one) to buy my first URC-6131 and I suspect the parallel cable. Drive past your place on my way to Meiers on most Fridays.

Yup, still here, I think I remember that now that you mention it.
