Crystal Audio Prime MPEG 4 DVB-t SD receiver

Post by kiakovid »

Dear experts,

help needed please. I searched this forum and wasn't able to find a suitable remote bin for the MPEG 4 DVB-t CRYSTAL AUDIO VIDEO PRIME-SD receiver. I also searched at the Harmony database and found a similar device Crystal Audio Prime HD to exist in their database.

Would you please be so kind to make the bin file so I can load it on my Slingbox M2?

I appreciate your help in advance.

Maybe this RMDU file would work to create a bin file:

Didn't work

I downloaded the remotemaster, opened the rmdu file, changed the remote to match the slingbox, exported the bin file, reconfigured the M2 with the new bin file but remote didn't work. Did I do something wrong? Any ideas?

More details

Some more details about the teset bin file:

Using a Slingbox M2. No error messages are received during installation. I gave the commands plenty of time to react. No buttons worked after the completion of setup. I am using the external IR blaster and placed it around IR receiver. Device works with real IR remote. Did a reset in Slingbox, didn't help. I have no access to Harmony remote.

Thanks in advance.

oh well, it was worth a try. Let's see if Alan can find it in the Harmony database.

Sorry for the delay, been on an extended vacation. Had a look in the database and although Crystal Audio is in the list, there is nothing resembling that box. Sorry.

Could you be without the OEM remote for any period of time? If so, you could mail it to me and I'll capture the codes and build a bin file, just include the return postage. PM if you're interested.

Or, it might be most cost effective for you to buy a JP1 learning remote and capture the signals yourself, then I could build a file from the data you capture. You can get the One For All OARUSB04G for $15.59 on Amazon and it doesn't need a JP1 cable as it comes with a USB cable.

Let me challenge myself to see how far I can take it. I'll get the JP1 learning remote and will research how to build the file from the captured data. It will take me some time, but I will make sure to report back or ask for further guidance.

Thanks much guys!

Once you have the JP1 remote, learn the buttons from your original remote and post the RMIR file, and I will create a BIN for you, that way you can get using your Slingbox, then see if you can replicate what I did as a learning exercise.
