Efc Codes for 0539

Post by brunosferos »

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I would like to apologise if I'm not posting in the right section. I have a philips lx3000d home cinema system with a missing remote control, so I bought a universal remote control urc-7562 upgradable and with learning capabilities(not that this is helping me right now :D ). I'm using the code 0539 to control the dvd player but have lots of original functions missing, so I'm using 0269 on audio to control the audio functions. I searched trough the forums and I found that someone posted some of the efc's for 0539 to control the sound and few others, but is not a complete list. The complete list of his findings was posted on the yahoo group about 8 months ago (so it's not there anymore), so please if anyone has that list or knows some of the efc's let me know.
Many thanks.
The functions missing are:
-TV/AV
-AUX
-OK
-SURROUND
-SOUND
-REPEAT
-REPEAT A-B
-SUBW+/-
-REAR+/-
-CENTER +/-
-SLEEP (I'm using the remote sleeper )
-DIM
-NIGHT

What I have so far:
187-disc
132-disc menu
058-system menu
139-stop
051-play

If it was there 8 months ago, I'm pretty sure it's still there.

The Yahoo search method confuses many people because it limits the initial search to recent posts. But there is a button to press to continue the search to earlier posts. You may need to press that several times.

DVD/0539 is RC6 protocol, device 4
Audio/0269 is RC5 protocol devices 16 and 21

IIUC, you're saying that your device responds to some combination of those codes.

There are many sources of information on commands within those codes. One source is the collection of JP1 device upgrades. The following files have commands for RC6 device 4:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files ... %20762.zip
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files ... -825AT.txt
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files ... 82c_v2.txt

Those are best viewed when LOADed using the KeyMapMaster Excel speadsheet or the RemoteMaster Java program. But you can find EFC numbers just looking at them with a text editor.

Many thanks for your replies. I allready tried those advanced codes from hifi-remote.com but almost none of them worked for me. I'll try some of the other links and let you know how it goes.
Many thanks again.
