I am using a ReplayTV remote control to control a ReplayTV and PC running SageTV (with a USB-UIRT receiver). Before I starting playing with JP1, I set the remote's Cable Box button to use the codes of some arbitrary satellite dish -- then I programmed the USB-UIRT to recognize those codes. It works well, except that Replay-specific buttons (eg Channel Guide) don't send an IR signal.
So, now I'm using JP1. My plan was to download the commands for a different arbitrary TV or satellite box into RemoteMaster, use it to make sure the Channel Guide and other buttons are sending some signal (because the USB-UIRT can learn any code, it doesn't matter what device the remote thinks it's talking to, as long as it doesn't conflict with the codes for the ReplayTV and TV.)
So I've tried several devices and keep finding that when I program the remote with IR.exe, it sends rapid-fire IR signals. Up-arrow is seen as up-up-up for instance. Do certain devices or protocols send data at a slower speed? Can I slow it down?
Or should I be tackling this problem in a completely different way?
Any advice would be appreciated.

There are 5 device modes supported by the ReplayTV remotes, those being TV, CBL, VCR, Audio and OEM. The OEM mode is the only one that includes all the ReplayTV specific buttons, so when you create this arbitrary upgrade in KM, be sure to select OEM as your device mode. Rather than looking for some random SAT code, just select a simple protocol, such as NEC1, pick some random device codes (let's say 234 and 210). Then select OBC mode and enter OBCs starting at 0 in the Functions sheet.
