notify me when a reply is posted not working

Post by radunn »

I'm a long term user here in JP1 Remotes Forum. As of late "notify me when a reply is posted " is not working. Any leads on fixing this? In advance thanks.

Best guess on my part is that your email provider is blocking the emails as spam, because it recognizes that it's an automated email. If you have a gmail account, try switching to that.

I'm radunn; spoke too soon! Changing my "profile" email to my gmail address screwed things up -really don't know how to explain except it deactivated my account. I would like to reactivate that account (radunn - spectrum/nycap.rr.com acct). radunn55(username) is loused also (gmail acct)

The intent was to start receiving email notifications when someone replied via the gmail account as suggested.

When you change email addresses, the forum sends a new activation email to your account, which you have to respond to in order to re-activate your account. The cool thing about Gmail is that I don't think it blocks anything, worst case is that it sends the email to your spam folder where you can retrieve it.

Either way, I just activated your old account by hand.
