Has any one been able to repair the Electroluminescent light on any remote
All the ones I have ever had, the connection to the Electroluminescent strip burns off
and is beyond repair.
I know the 15-1994 is an old remote but the buttons still work great.
I was thinking of removing the Electroluminescent strip and just adding
an LED. Since it has a plastic diffuser for the light one LED should work.
I was thinking of adding it to the primary side of the step up transformer
and probably will need a current limiting resistor added in series to the LED
also would have to check around with meter for voltages and amperage
Any one have any ideas ??
