Thanks. Getting close.

B, C, D, Pip on/off appear to all be the same command

Missing: Power, Stop, Record (may need to press twice to send), Dash, Skip Back, Skip Fwd (may not exist)

Want me to erase all I learn previously and just do those.... or add/redo those along with all the others?

It said in the RCA Instructions not to lear record, macro keys, device keys and setup. You still want me to learn record?

That's pretty funny, your remote IS the same as the one I have of the same model number, and your box recognizes the same Scientific Atlanta Panasonic (Old) signals. There are several upgrades here for them that will work.

I can only guess the new box is made to recognize multiple cable remotes (to save money on new remotes, maybe?).

Codes for functions recently mentioned should be (dev, obc):
PIP on/off 27 59
A 27 47
B 27 48
C 27 49
D 28 61
Power 27 7
Stop 27 52
Record 27 53
no Dash, * = 27 15
Skip Back 27 39
Skip Fwd 27 27

B, C, D, were redone. Pip on/off looks like the same (one) button on the Spectrum remote

I could not get the Power button to learn on the RCA. Relearned Stop, Record. No Dash. Learned Skip Back, Did not see Skip Fwd.

Interesting. Can you get my Day- to work?

If I have everything working not sure I should change to another upgrade... or do you think I should?

No, you can't learn on the power button.
Day- should be dev 28 obc 16, you could just fix it in your existing setup ...

That's great. Thanks again for all the help.

If I were to pick a different upgrade, which one would you recommend ?

Link replaced your CBL 2010 entirely with the new upgrade based on your complete learns plus all MrMoody's codes (power, etc). I put "Settings" on shift-Menu. B and C functions are on shift-B and shift-C since you have other keymoves on B and C already. Hopefully I didn't break anything.

I haven't checked which Scientific Atlanta upgrades are a match, but yours is fully complete now, so I wouldn't bother.

I followed this procedure to build an upgrade from your learns:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/wiki/index.php?title=JP1_-_Just_How_Easy_Is_It%3F_-_RM-IR_Version#Starting_a_New_Upgrade_and_the_Setup_Tab

Here's the complete upgrade:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=25046

Turns out this is almost an exact match to UEI cable setup code 1877 (01877) which has been around forever.

Yay! w00p w00p! You did it!!!!! Thanks Sooooooo much. Perfectamundo.

Talk to you in a couple years when I mess something else up, LOL. I am not buying anymore houses in my life, so maybe this is it!

I do have a new TV for my workshop, but it will be a while to get that installed. Need to get an ethernet wire out there which means a 30' trench and the ground is frozen now.

Take care Dave.
