Im new to this site and a bit overwhelmed by the volume of info available. What I want to do is program the discrete power on/off codes for the yamaha rx-a2000 into the harmony hub to solve the hub/receiver power state out of sync problem.
If anyone can give some guidance on what needs to be done it would be appreciated.
The harmony hub can learn codes so if I can get the receiver remote to transmit the discrete codes this should all work. |

Harmony already has those commands. Use Help when they get out of sync by pressing the activity again to start the Help sequence. It will then re-send the discrete on/off as appropriate.

If you're wanting to learn them so you can send additional discrete on/off at the start/end of your activities, then you'll need a second Harmony or a JP1 remote for that. When you learn them, you can't use the words power or on or off in the name. |
