Hello, I am new here. I've installed Slingbox and it works fine, only the remote gives problems. Can anybody help me providing a bin file for the remote of the Telenet (Belgium) digicorder DC-AD2200? Thanks a lot1

Yes I did, but that is an older remote. Mine is a black one.

Custom Remotes tend to use the basic image not a realistic one. The important thing is the functionality not what it looks like. So did it operate your box ?

Gives the same result. I have found one I think will suit on the JP1 site but it is not in bin but RMIR. I have posted a message to the guy but he answered me that I first have to learn everything where JP1 stands for and prove that I have been doiing efforts. I am retired and over the age of 60 and sorry, but this is for me far beyond my reach. I don’t understand a thing about this.

I've been retired for 10 years now but I have used my time to make sure I do understand these sort of things Very Happy

Not much I can do for you I'm afraid. I checked carefully and the the AD2200 definitely uses the same codes as the RC-RW100 so I have no idea why the rest of the buttons are not working for you.

But tell me where the RMIR file is and I will take a look.

I find the file when i do a “file search” from the uppercut menu, then I search for the word Telenet. The first result in the list mentioned ‘Diagnosis area, Cablebox Telenet DC-AD2200’ dates juni 6, 2017. This is the box I own.
Thanks a lot already for all your efforts. Much appreciated.

Yes, that file confirms what I found. The AD2200 and RC-RW100 are identical.

You say that Channel +/- works, but have you tried it where the box is in a mode where the direction keys work, i.e. a menu of some sort ?

Yes, both my husband and I tried this several times. Only Channel up and down are working. No other function. I found more people having the same problem as we do on other sites, for example placeshift.

Did you follow the installation instructions I produced ? I am thinking that maybe you haven't aligned the IR Blaster correctly.

Now I am confused. Where can I find the installation instructions? Working on a Mac and or IPad.
On my iPad, installed Slingplayer. The Telenet remote is in the list of remote. I picked it out of the list and tested it.
This did not work so I went to my Mac, found instructions on the internet on where to place the bin file (perhaps yours, I don’t know anymore) and could choose this file during setup the Slingbox. I presume I just need the correct file.

Did you look at the ReadMe file when you downloaded my RC-RW100 file ? (The clue is in the name Very Happy )

Actually it looks like you didn't download it ? How did you test it ?

It's the one at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=12062
