On the URC-8910, when you try to override the FAV button using the built-in Learning capability, it says it's "invalid" to program the FAV button.

I'd like to preprogram the FAV button.

Is it possible to reprogram the function of the FAV button using the built-in end-user capability of the remote (i.e. - without IR and JP1)? If not, can the FAV button be reprogramed via JP1?
