Re: Site non working
Hi, When you perform a full reset using code 821 the remote geta locked state and RMIR can't find it, the screen on remote only shows the background and some garbage. the only way to get the remote working is to upload a new firmware.mdavej wrote:We're working on it. In my experience a firmware upgrade can only be performed once (although this may change in the future), and garbage on the screen means the remote has failed catastrophically and cannot be recovered. I have a few remotes in that state. I recommend you tell the seller to replace your defective remote.
There is a procedure for exiting upgrade mode that you might want to try first:

For the XSight Touch, that says hold Power and OK while putting the battery back in. But the Touch is rechargeable and, as far as I am aware, the battery cannot be removed. Do you know what the instructions really are for the Touch? With the possibility (not yet known) of RMIR being able to do a firmware upgrade, it would be very helpful to know what to do to get it out of a stuck upgrade.mdavej wrote:There is a procedure for exiting upgrade mode that you might want to try first (item 10)
