Doop HDMP-200

Post by janagn »

Hello all,

I have purchased this box ( http://www.plaisio.gr/thleoraseis/perif ... MP-200.htm ) to use it with my slingbox. As usual, the remote control codes are elusive. Any help will be much appreciated.

I feel confident that the first number in each string is the OBC, but the hex codes posted don't agree, and in fact, they aren't even unique, several buttons have the same hex code.

Sorry about that, finger trouble, I put in 5 instead of 6. Link updated.

The reason I can do it is that your box was in the Logitech Harmony database. So I installed it on my Harmony and then I have a clone of your remote in my hand to analyse.

I just set the Custom buttons according to the database. And they are as detailed in the Readme file (You did read that I hope?). The differences are that:

Custom 11 is down as 'Go To'
Custom 14 is down as 'Repeat'
Custom 16 is down as 'PVR'
Custom 18 is down as 'Timer'
Custom 19 is down as 'TimeShift'

Odd.

Yes you are right as always... I was just eager to help but you beat me there again. Your terminology on the custom is better than mine :) Again thank you for the fantastic support :)

For those that are interested, this device uses NEC1 dev 0 (the "0 FF" should have been a clue) and the final byte of hex posted is the OBC in hex form. So my guess is the numbers posted are the position on the PCB, perhaps, but from an IR signal point of view, they're meaningless.

Al's upgrade includes many OBCs not listed above, and it includes all of those listed.

For anyone wanting to add this device to a remote, here is an RM file:
