need opinion on remote with Roku 3 already installed

I going to return the RCA OARUSBO4G remote I just bought. Not smart enough, clever enough or patient enough to get this damned thing to function for Roku 3. I can't afford a high dollar logitech, so do I have any other choices? Thanks to all.
