I get an error when I try to open this file using RMIR, so I took a look at the raw file and it doesn't look like you've added any learned signals to it. Have you connected the remote to http://ez-rc.com yet?
Assuming that you haven't really done anything yet, the first step is to connect to http://ez-rc.com and allow the web site to update the remote's firmware. You could, just for fun, see if they already have a code for your device, but assuming they don't, the next step is to use the Nevo to learn all the buttons from the original remote, then save that RMIR file as that's the one we will need to build you a new Slingbox file.
Btw, we will need the make and model of this device in order to create the file. _________________ Rob

Must use IE on the site. No other browser works.
But you can do all your learning without using EZ-RC. |

Doesn't he need to use ez-rc to upgrade the firmware before the remote will work properly with RMIR? Did you try downloading and opening his RMIR file Dave, and if so, did you get errors too? _________________ Rob

Yes i used IE. I think my system is not compatible. Windows 10 with latest IE. Any other solutions.
Also just to update you all i am able to control the box using the Nova C2 after uploading the signals from my original remote.
Thanks |

By "uploading" do you mean you used the Nova to "learn" the signals from the original remote? If so, what that before or after you downloaded the memory using RMIR? _________________ Rob

Yes you are right i mean i learned the signals in Nova (captured the buttons). Then when i tried to Download the device using RMIR it just gave me the file which i uploaded before. |

Everything else in RMIR should work on the old firmware.
Boss,
With Win 10, you must run ez-rc in IE compatibility mode, not Edge. When you run what you think is IE, it's actually "Edge", which is completely different. And you must do the registry fix below:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/wiki/index.php?title=Getting_started_with_Xsight_and_Nevo#Win_8.1.2F10_Requirements
You should probably read this section as well:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/wiki/index.php?title=Getting_started_with_Xsight_and_Nevo#Setup_and_Programming
FWIW, using IE mode and the registry fixes above, I have no issues with Nevo remotes on many Win 10 computers. |

So Dave, is that why I get errors when I try to open his RMIR file? Did you try downloading and opening it? _________________ Rob
