Not sure I'll be able to explain this correctly or completely on the first pass. Basically, two RMDU's work but not together in one RMIR on an RCA RCRP05B remote.

Equipment Version 1:
This one has been working for years. It has an HTPC, TV[/url], Blu-Ray player, DVD, DVDR (Magnavox 515), Sat Radio, and Onkyo Preamp.
Here is the RMIR file EV1.

Equipment Version 2:
This one replaces the Onkyo Preamp with a Yamaha RX-V677 receiver. The receiver RMDU works on this one but not the HTPC RMDU. Well, the HTPC works when the functions are called via macros.
Here is the RMIR file EV2.

In short, the HTPC RMDU works on the RMIR version with the Onkyo setup, but does not work with the Yamaha RDU. Go figure.

Also, when trying different versions of the RMIR files with different RCRP05B's and different RMIR's (2.02a and 2.03 Build 14), I got the task error message about downloading from remote.

Thank you for any help you may offer.

That's correct Robman. Type faster than I think, and neither are very fast. Thanks.

Here's the post for the task error message about downloading from remote.
