Hi, about 8 years ago I flashed my replaytv remote with extender macros and it's been working well for years. I'd like to add full remote functionality for my SA-AK33 receiver. There are LIRC codes available:
https://sourceforge.net/p/lirc-remotes/ ... lircd.conf
More protocol info:
http://pc486.net/projects/btirctl/
Specifically I'm interested in the sleep, power, and volume functionality. How can I add these codes as a function/macro to my remote?
1. Device: Panasonic SA-AK33
2. Type of device: Stereo Receiver, tape, cd changer
3. Year: 2000
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-4641B00 replaytv-silver
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? yes
6. Still have original remote? no
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? ??
9. Partially working setup code? not sure
10. Learning remote question? no
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? yes, but not sure what to do??
thank you.
port lirc conf codes to JP1? (Panasonic SA-AK33 stereo)

You can use IrScrutinizer to convert LIRC to IR protocol with device and OBC information. In my Web browser, I highlighted and copied everything from Begin Remote to End Remote. Used the Import tab and selected LIRC. Clicked on Load from Clipboard, and finally ImportAll. I copied the resulting table to a text editor, edited out the extraneous info, and here it is I think you should use Panasonic Combo to make an upgrade. I'm not familiar with the Replay 5000 remote, so I can't help with anything else.
