Kindly request PL & RV BIN Files for Grundig GUD1500XI2

Post by ExHd »

Dear brilliance,

I would be most grateful if you could help to configure remote for Freeview Grundig GUD1500XI2 box. I can't find it on this forum.
Alternatively, is there a generic remote as long as I can change the channel remotely?
Thanks,
Stephane

Please help again

I tried loading the S2010_PL.BIN file. The remote still does not work.

Could you please help a little further to see if other codes might help?

Best regards
Stephane.

Hi Stephane,
I think Alan will take it from here, but before he jumps in, there are a number of questions that he will want answered, so please read the info in the following link and then provide your answers.

It must be me :D 'ExHd' replies twice to you but the moment I build the remote and post it they shut up and don't reply. Annoying :(

My manners ...

... are appalling. I agree and am sorry.
To be fair, the Slingbox is still not working. We loaded the remote and it worked on the day (last weekend) but the next day the Slingbox (new) stopped broadcasting outside of the local WIFI network.

As we are troubleshooting we do not know yet what is the source of the issue.

But in the interim, permit me to say a great thank you for your super rapid responses (unlike my delayed one) and excellent help.

You do come across as an exception in this world. I will ensure we let you know once it all works and share our gratitude.

Best regards
Stephan.

Sorry to hear of your problems, hope it gets fixed soon. But as the remote worked once I think we can safely say it's OK :D

Hi Alan and Rob.

As promised, here is the feedback after you provided such excellent help last month. The Freeview box died on us.

Anyway, thanks again for your help.

Could you suggest a Freeview Box to use with our Slingbox which would be the best match with existing remote control codes?

Best regards
Stephan.

Back now. Can't recommend one really, but this link tells you which boxes are supported:

http://support.slingbox.com/sitecore/co ... lang=en-US

And If your box is not supported but it on this list then I can build a Custom Remote.

Perfect links. I looked for this Slingbox link for ages and only you were able to provide it (the link to the supported third party boxes).

I will provide an update ASAP.

Thanks again.
