Export globalcache IR code

Post by Carl »

I have registered for a free account on
https://irdbservice.cloudapp.net/ to get IR codes, and was wondering if there was a tool that can convert the codes sent by global cache in batch. All I found right now is IRscrutinizer but it can only convert one signal at the time.

The IR data sent by email from globalcache look like this:
(I use hexcode1 to get the OBC from Irscrutinizer.)

function, code1, hexcode1, code2, hexcode2

They have quite a large database of codes, it would be great to be able to convert them for remotemaster.

Hi Carl,

This is actually descibed in the manual.

Somewhat more verbosely: press "send code set" to have the codes sent to you. Copy the return mail to the clipboard. Go to the Import pane, subpand text, subsubpane raw. Select 1 as name column, 2 (or 3) as raw signal column, select the comma as field separator. Press "Load from clipboard", and you are done.
