commenting out seems to be working for the setup codes.
but why are the buttons from the upgrade not saved?
i pointed the functions of the upgrade to my needed buttons. then i "saved as" to my xxx.rmdu and click ok. back in mainwindow i saved as xxx.rmir. but after an upload and download i can´t see all functions from this upgrade. but i think i miss understand RMIR.
from this upgrade only works my key move "vol +" "vol -" and discrete "power off"

Friday, Graham has fixed the problem with the device code offset, could you please download the beta version of RMIR and confirm if it is fixed using your remote.

Hi Friday, Its been a long time since we worked on the "friday special".
In a PM you said the discrete power buttons for the PT
Panasonic VT60 Series (TC-P55VT60)
I got the information from this thread
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15206
Panasonic
128.0 obc 62
128.0 OBC 63
It sounds like RMIR wasn't properly handling Offset devices.
I'll keep watching this thread.

offset is now fixed
the discrete Power off for my TX-P50VT50e works fine with your upgrade. but not discrete Power On.
i have to push a little bit longer the discrete "on" button like the normal "Power on/off" so i can´t use it in my macro.

One way to handle that would be to create a modified version of the executor (protocol) that tests for the POWER ON code and sends a long signal, or maybe even simpler would be a custom version that just sends the long signal, then you program a special upgrade with just one button in it, and use that in your macro.
Or, if your remote supports learning, we could hand craft a learned signal that has the required number of repeats in it.
