Anyone know if the RCA RCU811 has the JP1 connector?
I currently have an 810 but unfortunately it was the subject of one to many spills and now some of the buttons don't work properly. I want to get another but they're harder to find here in Canada.
The 811 supposedly is the 810 replacement and it's available everywhere here.
Thanks in advance.
RCA RCU811 - jp1 compatible?

I've not seen one in person, but the word I hear is "no". Sorry. Try opening up the RCU810 and cleaning it.

Hrm
I have, tried lots of different things, eraser, iso-propyl alcohol, etc.
Contacts are nice & shiny but things like the 0, 1 keys don't work and others (like channel up/volume up) work only sometimes.
Thanks. I didn't want to buy the remote unless I knew.
The next one (one-for-all URC8911?) was more expensive.
I think I'll keep looking for a RCU810.

How much was the URC-8911? I have a URC-8910 for sale for $23 and shipping to Canada is just $4, if you need one.
