Hi Allen, there isn't enough to get the protocol from this, BUT since it is 32 bits it would probably be some sort of NEC and since the last 2 bytes are function and complement, that is even more of a clue.

.
Device, Subdevice, OBC, Complement.
4F, f8, 30, CF be Channel+

Read as LSB, that would be
242, 26, 12

When I look at that combo, and compare it with the device upgrades we have a NECX2 upgrade, with device 242, subdevice 26, with a matching CH+ OBC in our upgrade area, thanks to Mr. alanrichey, Laughing

I think this Samsung SMT-C5050 upgrade should match up.

Check the last value in hex, against the hex for each function. I'd do it, but am late for an appointment.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Hi Allen, if this does turn out to be a NecX2 signal, then this should cover most functions. Please note a few buttons need to be changed.

His Return = Last Channel

Power, Menu, Guide, and ChannelList will be different obcs.
Power 30
Menu 38
Guide 55
Ch_List 54 (was menu in your upgrade)

Everything else lines up nicely.
