I recently acquired a Nevo C2 and am pretty much up to speed with how to configure it with RemoteMaster. My problem is every time I disconnect the USB cable the device driver corrupts and I need to troubleshoot and repair (by reinstalling the driver) in order for RMIR to see the remote again.
I've gotten pretty good at fixing the problem but am wondering if there is a more permanent solution so I don't have to reinstall the device driver every time I attach the remote.
Windows 7, current on all patches and updates.

I've never seen that before, but I have seen Java issues. Does it fail the moment you unplug or the next time you plug it back in? How are your batteries? Can you try a different cable? Also try removing and reinstalling Java. You may have to run RM setup again afterwards. |
