Thanks in advance for the new extenders. :D
Without a shift key, limited buttons and only four devices the OARUSB04G
doesn’t work very well for Windows media center, cable boxes and audio
video receivers. :(

Sorry, no chance, not from me at any rate. They are JP1.4 remotes and no-one has yet figured out how to do an extender for these. For me there is another issue as well. The processor in JP1.4 remotes is the Samsung S3F80, and although many in the forum seem to love it, to me it has an incomprehensible architecture that I am not prepared to touch.

Get yourself an OARUSB04G :D . I gather they can be had very cheaply in the US, and my extender for it is in final stages of testing.

I don't like them, not enough buttons. The OARI06G has the perfect ergonomics, button feel and layout, but it's rendered almost useless by having only 3 activities and the fact that Shift doesn't work in an activity.

The Nevo C2 is great except it's fat, heavy and the buttons are stiff.

Everyone to their own taste, I suppose :D . To me the URC-6440 (European version of OARUSB04G) is pretty well ideal, especially with my extender. I have quite a collection of UEI remotes, including the URC-7960 (European OARI06G) and two XSights, but the URC-6440 is the first one that has tempted me, for my own use, from my trusty URC-7781 that got me into this forum seven years ago. My extender for the OARUSB04G increases the number of buttons if you are prepared to use Shift and/or XShift, but of course you don't get additional physical buttons with distinct names.
