Hi everyone,
Let me start by saying this forum has the best information I can find on the METechs drapery track. I've installed it in my home theatre and I'm trying to get a PHP CRON task I've written to be a projectionist for me.
I'm trying to accomplish this using LIRC and an IRToy on a Raspberry Pi. I can capture and control my Epson projector, but captures from these METech drapes never seem to respond.
It seems like this should be expected based on the thread about this curtain motor's strange protocol. As the JP1 codes for these seem to work, I was thinking I might see some success by converting those to LIRC.
I'd say I'm technically capable, but this IR stuff is pretty new to me, so I really appreciate any help I can get to move past this hurdle! |

Install Remote Master to view the JP1 codes. Then enter the protocol, device, sub-device and range of OBCs into IR Scrutinizer to convert to LIRC. Both are available in our file section. |

EDIT: I figured it all out and managed to get the curtain working through LIRC. Thanks for the help. This place is great. |
