Is it possible to use the learned ir codes from ir keyboard

As keyboards are such a pain to get replicate using a remote, they get their own forum. Hopefully having all the posts in one place will make it easier to find the solution.

Is it possible to use the learned ir codes from ir keyboard to have it type on the keyboard for usb or ps2 in a computer? Thx
