It was an RMIR problem

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16072

My Pioneer DV-410V upgrade works correctly with RMIR 202a and Insignia
67100 extender 1.01

I loaded it in RMIR v2.03 alpha 28 build 19 and changed the remote to
Insignia remote 67100 extender v3.03 and saved it to a new file.

I added the upgrade to the “remote” as dev2 and uploaded it to the remote.

Power, power off, enter and open/close don't work

Play, pause, stop, skip FWD and skip back work.

I think I have a protocol/protocol ID problem.

In the upgrade Pioneer mix is set but learns from the remote are NEC1.

Successful learns from the original remote have protocol Pioneer.

Power and open/close from the original show **multiplex**.

Rmir file, upgrade, and captures are in this zip file

The upgrade use

Code:
Protocol: Pioneer MIX
Protocol ID: 00 7E
Device 1 : 163
Device 2 : 175
Cmd1 (OBC) : 153
Fixed Data : 3A 66 FA 00 00 OA

I don’t know what needs to be changed.

Jim,
I don't see any reason to think there is a problem with protocol executors or PIDs. Your learns either show Pioneer, or NEC1 signals with device 4 or device 1. The RMIR file contains an upgrade with setup code 0758 (Vizio TV) which is NEC1 device 4, and another with setup code 2010 which is NEC1 device 1 (iView). So I suppose that the issue will be found in Keymoves or Special Functions.

Learns which display **Multiple** include more than one IR signal. Click on **Multiple** to see additional info. BTW, posting a JPG of the learned tab is less useful than posting the RMIR file from the learning remote. The RMIR file is smaller than a JPG, and much smaller when zipped, yet it contains more information.

I uploaded an rmir file with the learns. The Pioneer remote learns are on
device DVD and the learns from the Insignia 67100 are on device TV. In
both cases yellow is power and blue is open/close

For the learns with Multiple, use Prefix Device 163, Prefix Command 153, Device 175 and whatever corresponding OBC.
