Is there a pause protocol for a Charter URC-1060BC3 remote (Maxim MAXQ610 processor)?

In protocols.ini, add this line to [Pause Protocol (Special)]
Code:
Code.MAXQ610=78 B4 01 04 00 00 D0 07 00 80 08 5A 00 00 00 58 FC D0 00
Entering a duration of 1 should give a delay of about 0.1 seconds. 255 gives 25.5 seconds, and 0 will give 25.6 seconds.

Remotemaster v2.03 alpha 28 build 11
Charter URC-1060BC2(3) remote
I added the line to protocols.ini
I made this pause upgrade

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=13197

I installed the upgrade
I used a key move to assign the 9.5 second pause (shift 1) to TV shift-rec
I created a macro OnDemand using the shift-rec between Pageup (discrete on for the TV) and yellow (TV Hdmi1)
I don’t get the pause. What did leave out/do wrong
My RMIR file

I haven't looked at your files, but I suggest to first check if the Pause protocol works in a very simple setup. I tested using an Atlas 1056B03, made a Pause upgrade (the only upgrade) with Durations for functions 0 through 9, and assigned these functions to buttons 0 through 9. RMIR generated the keymoves for me. After uploading to the remote, pressing one of these buttons turned on the LED for the expected pause interval. I checked with a Widget that the remote does not transmit any IR, and also doesn't respond to button presses during the Pause. I did not try using macros, or shifted buttons. Perhaps that changes the behavior.

I got pause to partially work.

Looks like RMIR has one or more problems with this remote

Edit by mathdon: I see no problems in RMIR from the behaviour described in that thread. See my response in that thread.

Jim,
the following change isn't going to help your problem, but I want you to be aware that when the next protocols.ini comes out, the MAXQ executor for Pause will have different timing from the one I posted above. I had set it up so that it gave pauses in units of 1/10th seconds, but that doesn't match all the other Pause executors. I think we want to be able to use the same Pause RMDU files for all processors, so I've changed the executor to use units of 1/16th seconds.
Code:
Code.MAXQ610=78 FF 01 04 00 00 E8 03 00 80 08 5A 00 00 00 58 FC D0 00
.

Consider this

Pauses for an extended JP1.3 remotes are in 1/10 of a second units (0.1 0.5 9.5)
