I realize the processor changed and the B03 uses JP2 (FTDI arrives tomorrow).
One of my devices, a TCL TV, I used this device upgrade: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=9115

Problem: the protocol. I'm looking for an equivalent for the new processor. There seems to be a PID: 00 91 available on the B03, but I'm not sure how to determine the params.

Do you need a RCA Combo at 38KHz? PID 0091 allows only 1 device (typically 15 for a TV). One of the upgrades includes switching to other components using other device numbers. In any case, I'll need a couple of days before posting a fix.

Many thanks, 3FG. Although I've used JP1 remotes for many years, I've never dug into the low-level underpinnings like protocols.

WOW, what are the chances!

Turns out that one of the upgraded device codes (in flash) is for my TV! I can now modify and adjust it as I wish.

Thank you very much for offering to help me, 3FC, but I think I have all I need, now Very Happy Very Happy

The code is 2434.
It's all working well, now, except I can't turn off the @#$!@ backlighting. Pressing setup twice didn't work (it worked on 1056B01).
