Hi Alan,

This is slightly off topic, but I thought I'd ask you anyway.

I actually met somebody who was using Slingbox the other day! They were trying to project from their PC to the TV via Chromcast. Is that doable? Are there instructions somewhere?

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Unfortunately not. They need to run the Slingplayer on an iOS or Android device where Chromecast support is built in. (As long as their Slingbox is relatively new (350/500/M1), the older boxes built before Chromecast arrived do not support it. The only other solution is another third-party box such as Roku, WDTV, AppleTV, Slingcatcher...
