Hi All,
Need Slingbox remote for zenega Model: cd-1004iS+ . I have a Slingbox 350. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I tried uploading the bin file which you gave in your previous post. But unfortunately it did not work. Please help....

What i meant was ,I was able to upload the bin file successfully. But the remote did not work. Please help..

But the instructions specifically ask you to answer some questions. It says NEVER to reply 'it does not work'. If you want help then I expect you to at least help me first. The latest set of questions are:

1. What model Slingbox do you have?

2. Was there any error message after you typed in the Code and tapped the Test button ?

3. Did you give the commands plenty of time to react ? (I have a DVR that takes about 6-8 seconds to power up/down)

4. If you are using a Solo did you try both BIN files ?

5. After completing the setup do any of the buttons work ?

6. If you are installing on a Solo or Pro-HD or older box, have you used a Digital Camera to confirm the IR Blaster is actually firing when you tap the Power button ? (Watch the tip of the IR Blaster thorugh the viewfinder while you tap a button. You should see a white (not red) flash). If you are using a 350/500 have you tried using the external blaster ?

7. Have you experimented with the placement of the IR Blaster ? On some devices this is critical so don't give up too quickly.

8. Are you sure the device is working correctly using the real remote ?

Sorry to have missed out on the details which you asked. Please find them below.

1. What model Slingbox do you have?
Ans: SlingBox 350

2. Was there any error message after you typed in the Code and tapped the Test button ?
Ans: No There was no error . When I clicked test button it downloaded the file to the slingbox and remote opened onscreen. But unfortunately it was not working.

3. Did you give the commands plenty of time to react ? (I have a DVR that takes about 6-8 seconds to power up/down)
Ans: Yes, I waited for more than 15 sec after i pressed a button

4. If you are using a Solo did you try both BIN files ?
Ans: I am not using solo but slingbox350

5. After completing the setup do any of the buttons work ?
Ans: No. None of the buttons work

6. If you are installing on a Solo or Pro-HD or older box, have you used a Digital Camera to confirm the IR Blaster is actually firing when you tap the Power button ? Ans: I have tried using the external blaster. But same result.

Ans:Yes the device is working fine using the real remote.

No more ideas I'm afraid. According to the Logitech Harmony database the codes that the Canal Digital box uses are identical to those for your box.

Have you used a Custom set up with this unit before this attempt?

Good point, had forgotten that.

'mustanshir'. Make sure you reset ALL the inputs before you try and install the Custom Remote.
