Alan thanks, I tried but it did not work. I placed the two files in the SBAV folder, my Sling software is 2.0.4.522. no errors were given, just no control at all.

It gives an easier set of installation instructions and contains the immortal words "...do NOT reply back 'it does not work'... "

This was my error, and for this I owe you an apologize. I will like to report that the remote bin. C2010_PL.bin is working fine and controlling the slingbox great.

If I ran into any issues I will let you know, as I navigate with the remote. I have one question however, If you were to get a photo of the original remote will it be possible to replica it?, Just brain storming the idea.

If it is an image that Sling have already produced then it is easy, I just need to know which of the built-in selections show that image (even if the codes are wrong). Or if it is one of these: http://slingbox.wikia.com/wiki/Skin.toc then I can do it. Otherwise you will have to do it yourself from scratch, see http://answers.slingbox.com/thread/8533?tstart=0

Did not see it in the line-up, so I will have to built this from scratch. Will this time read the instructions a few times and start this project.

Will keep you up-to date with my progress; and should I require any assistance and or clarification.
