Hi Guys,

I just bought a universal remote in Lidl... I know cheap bad stuff..I wanted to control the device in the subject but of course cannot find a proper code for it. The only thing I found is with different buttons, I mean right arrow for ok, 5 for down etc etc, of ourse the remote itself is not configurable. I was wondering if you know a remote brand that could match, even if just in part, the cyclone's remote... thanks for your help.

Hello, these forums primarily deal with remotes that are manufactured by UEI. As far as I can tell, the Silvercrest is not a UEI remote. The remote does not seem to use the standard UEI setup codes. So we can't even determine what the remote is shooting.

Have you tried learning? The remote does seem to have learning, although if these are toggling keys, the learns may not be reliable. All of our sumvision upgrades use Nec1 1 and Nec1 0 upgrades, so if this uses the same protocol, learning would be the way to go. That's also the reason you are finding so many partially working setup codes.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
